  4 stars only because I didn't have any food. I only had the fun. It was club night at Tamboo.
  
  1 Upon entering we were asked to pay the cover charge of $15 but.... I called ahead and I was on the guest list plus 1. The call alone was a positive experience. Ms. Vaughndra was polite and just all around professional nice  on the phone.
  
  2 the atmosphere was great. Slow to start but Island time never disappoints... by 11:00 all of The Who's who think they are who come out and the party gets started.
  
  3 the drinks are expensive but not more than any other club. So drink up before you get here for that buzz. If you have to order Bobby will take care of you.
  
  4 I was invited to Sunday brunch and I was informed that I can be in the guest list every weekend if I so choose. Not a bad deal.
  
  Fun was had. Great music and the drinks service and customer service was good.
  
  I would recommend to fellow yeloers and friends for a Friday night out. Safe and good food .

  We were a rather large group of 20. We had made a same day reservation and pre ordered our food. Once we got to the restaurant, we were sitting there for over an hour before the owner pulled me aside to confirm our orders.  Mind you, we sent in our orders roughly 2 hours before we came into the restaurant. It took us three hours to get SOME of our food and FOUR hours to get 90% of what we ordered. A couple came into the restaurant and got their food within 20 minutes of entering. It was disrespectful and humiliating for us to see someone get fed when we were waiting for over three hours. We didn't even get any bread while the couple did. Nor did we get refills for our water. The food tasted good but it wasn't worth the wait. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for large parties nor for anyone who values good service.

  Went back, the food has improved since the last time I went there. My boyfriend and I ordered Fritay with a side of rice wasn't so bad. The drinks I wasnt a fan of. Idk if we got served the wrong drinks but there were bad it was fuzzing on top? After we ate my boyfriend danced the night away. I do see less people than before. This place used to be packed 7 years ago!

  My first time giving them business and I was told my order would be ready to pick up in 25 minutes. I waited 30, drove from the next town over and waited for an additional 40 mins inside the restaurant. I was told 5 minutes every 15 minutes, I was also told it was because of the fish I ordered. Which actually would of been the quickest thing to prepare .. Ironically the lady who arrived after me had a similar story but and wasn't quiet about. After getting the food much of it tasted old and the pikliz tasted like a dirty refrigerator. I was very disappointed after waiting so long for the food.  The food was sub par and terrible portions in comparison to their competitors. Especially considering their inflated prices. I would recommend multiple other Haitian restaurants in Brockton. With better food, prices and portions.

  A couple weeks ago I worked with Eva at Tamboo to  plan a bridal brunch for my sister. I had to change my venue last minute and reached out to Tamboo literally the night before the shower was scheduled. Eva and her team were very accommodating and helpful as I dealt with this last minute. She helped me customize a menu for my sister's brunch that included some delicious Caribbean food and a mimosa bar.  She was very professional and responsive to all my late night/early morning calls. Eva and the team at Tamboo truly went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success.
